We were excited this week to see a demonstration of the new tool available from the Sage 300 ERP third party developer Orchid.
The Orchid Extender Product provides for easier customisations in Sage 300 which are simple to maintain in new releases and upgrades. It has the ability to store related information directly in Sage 300 and you can also edit this from within the system. The product also allows for additional validation to data entry fields including email alerts when certain changes are made.
These are great features from the new product and the fact that it is easy to maintain your customisations with new releases will make upgrading much smoother for our clients.
