Simple Corrections
We have all done it. Made a mistake when posting a transaction; chose the wrong account or sub account, forgot to put in a description. Sometimes it is not just a problem on one transaction, it can be multiple transactions that are wrong. Fixing them requires a journal entry and that can take time.
Acumatica has this amazing function called “Reclassifications”. It does this all for you. It even has a “search and replace” feature which allows you to correct a number of transactions in one go. To go one step further, when you view or print the transactions in an account, the default view is to exclude the original transaction that was wrong and the reversal of that entry, so that it looks like no correction was ever made. That is Acumazing!
