We bring you news of the new features to be released in Sage 300 (Accpac) 2017.
Recently released (August 2016) the new version features;
- New financial management and administration web screens, as well as improvements to many existing web screens.
- A new Notes feature that lets you add and manage notes for customers, vendors, and inventory items.
- One-click processing for credit card transactions in Accounts Receivable and Order Entry.
We particularly like the new Notes feature and it will be available as part of both Sage 300 (desktop) and Sage 300c (web screens).
Notes are simple to create and simple formatting may be applied. Notes can be added to any screen and can be specified to a Customer, Vendor or Inventory Item. In the above image a note is being created on a Sage 300c web screen for a particular vendor.
Notes can be given activation periods, so you can decide when the note can be seen, by whom and whether or not the note can be dismissed by your staff after viewing. The note will appear whenever you do something that is linked to that customer, vendor or item. For example the above note has been set to appear every time you create a purchase order for a particular vendor.
The above shows how the notes will look on the desktop version of Sage 300.
