Last month we completed a project where one of our clients moved from one web shopping cart provider to another. We are beginning to see this happening more often as different channels add more functionality in competition with each other.
Normally a new integration partner (in this case the new shopping cart application) requires a new integration project, making it costly for the client. Often this cost is not considered when moving and can come as a shock. In the case of Sage 300, when combined with our IMAN Intgeration product, it is a simple and cost effective exercise.
The integration between Sage 300 ERP and IMAN does not actually change, we simply remap the data coming from the new provider. This means we can cut out a large proportion of a typical integration project’s time and cost.
